Day 151 - January 30th (continued)

Justin wanted me to post a few more of the pictures we took on Sunday, so here you go!  Here is the hallway upstairs.  Notice the smoke detector and the thermostat.  The heat is now on so they don't have to work in the freezing cold.

Day 151 - January 30th

Can lights have started going in!  These are in the kitchen.

Doors have arrived and will start being installed.  Cabinets moved to the dining room for now.

Day 149 - January 28th

There is now a door on the storage room in the sub-basement.

And a door from the garage into the laundry room.

The ceiling has been textured and primed.  The walls have also been primed.  You can see where we tested out paint colors.

Cabinets started arriving today!  Piled in the living room for now.

Day 143 - January 22nd

It's a snowy day in Lawrence. 6 inches of snow last week, then another 6 inches this week.

They continued working on the dry wall this week, focusing on applying mud to smooth out the seams and the nail holes.  Here is the kitchen and dining room.

Day 134 - January 13th

We have walls upstairs now!  I have quite a few updated pictures to share.  Standing in the dining room, looking through the kitchen, laundry room, into the garage.

The master bedroom.  Notice the ceiling.  We have a 'coffer' (ledge) where we can put Christmas lights to add ambient light in the room.
