Closing day finally arrived! We closed Friday, March 25th and started the move then, finishing up today. Hence the reason for no updates in the past several days. I promise to take pictures and post them soon.
Thank you for following along with us in our journey! We do hope you will come visit us soon to see the house!
All I can say is we are finally "Home sweet home." :)

Day 204 - March 24th
We close on the house tomorrow! There are still lots of finishing touches that will be added over the next 3 days. Lots of progress today, here's the chronology...
Carpet is now finished throughout the house. Here is the living room corner and fireplace.
The master bedroom.
The mirrors and bath hardware have been installed in the master bath.
Our daughter's bedroom.
The guest bedroom upstairs.
Another railing has been added to the basement patio.
Hardware installed in the basement bath.
Hardware added in the upstairs guest bath.
It looked like a parking lot outside of our house today! Same number of cars were parked the opposite direction as well.
A mailbox has been added at the curb until they get the pedestals installed.
Door has been added to the master shower!
The wood front on the master bath is now complete.
The vanity cabinet is complete except for the door pulls. We have to get more of those.
Hooks added in the master closet. Carpet is installed. Door is waiting to be hung.
Wire shelves have been installed in all closets. Here is the linen closet in the master bath.

The refrigerator has been installed!
This is the front door, waiting to be installed. We went with a dark brown/gray. The color is called Granite.

This is the media wall in the basement. The hole has been cut out where the wires will feed from the back of the TV into the media closet.

Day 202 - March 22nd
The range has been installed in the kitchen.
Spindles have been added to the railing above the stairs.
Hardwood floor is finished in the entry way. This is the coat closet.
The guest bathroom upstairs has been cleaned and all the excess plastic removed. Cabinet hardware also added.
Carpet has been installed in the basement!
Carpet and ceiling fan installed in the guest bedroom downstairs.
The basement bathroom has been cleaned up.
The spindles on the basement patio are now complete.
Carpet has been partially installed on the stairs.
Carpet is in progress upstairs. Here is our daughter's bedroom.

Day 201 - March 21st
The microwave has been installed above the stove.
The dining room chandelier has been hung.
The dishwasher has also been installed.
Hardwood floor has been laid in the entry, although it's currently covered by card board. :)
The countertop and faucets have been installed in the master bathroom.

The basement bath is nearly complete.
Our plastic cave has been taken down! There's still a bit of work to do on the paint though.

Later in the day, cabinet doors and drawer fronts have been added to the kitchen island.
